Two F-Curve Animations to one mesh.

Post by Carpetfizz » Sat Feb 12, 2011 10:57 pm

Hi,
I am currently making a game. I used the logic bricks to make the mesh play a short F-Curve animation on Left Click. I want to add a separate animation to the same mesh, so it will play the new F-Curve on Right Click. How do I go about doing the second animation for the one mesh?
Thanks!

The only way to do this I know of would be to put one animation on a certain key-frame length and put the second on a second keyframe length. For example, animation 1 would be from frame 1 - 50 and animation 2 from frame 100 - 150. Then, you would select which animation frame set to play. Otherwise, use an armature and make actions for it (you can make and trigger more than one).

Thank you very much! I would have never thought of this, because I kind of ignored the "frame" buttons on the logic modules.

No prob. There's a lot of features and functions that the BGE has access to - learning about them can really make a game easy to work with.
