Standalone with game engine

Post by LIGHTspeed » Thu Apr 27, 2006 6:24 pm

I know there is a way, but can somebody tell me how to compile games made in blender to a standalone executable? Do you use python?
thanks!

P.s. Sorry if i am repeating a question asked by somebody else at some time or another.

Thanks! I forgot that button was there. However, the standalone will not run. (something about python24.dll not found).

Sorry about the post. I found out that this was only the developers forum a while after I wrote this. :(

copy it from the directory you installed blender

you might also need another one of the dlls... but I forget which

[and having python24.zip is good too]

Thanks.
By the way, the other .dll file that I ended up needing was the SDL.dll file.
