transferring animation

Post by copain »

hey
I am new on the Blender forums.

For my first project in Blender I have animated a object, but I have made alot of changes to the object.

So is there an easy way of transferring the animation from the old object to the new.
(I guess I can parent the new object to the old one and just hide the old one, but there must be a cleaner way of doing this?)

Thanks in advance
steve

hey

since everything (or amost everything)saved in blender is done in datablocks, all you need to do is move the Ipo or action data block from one object to another.

google "blender datablocks" to see how they work
