UV Animation

I am using Blender for my 2D IOS game and while the skeletal animation was fairly straight forward, I cannot seem to figure out how to animate the UV coordinates. I am using a single texture for the entire model and its texture animations, so setting a keyframe that changes the texture will not work for me.

So I ask, "How can I animate UV coordinates?"

Please assume I know nothing when responding. I have used Blender for a total of 18 hours.

So as an update, everything I have found leads me to believe Blender does not offer UV keyframe animation. I found a "plugin", but it isn't really a plugin and seems to have some issues. If I am wrong then please let me know. I'd love for everything to be done in Blender so I can see my art at work, but I can manually type what I need if necessary since my file format is ascii.
