Animation Layers

Post by westsidazrhidaz » Tue Nov 27, 2012 4:16 am

Hey all, I've been trying to figure out if there is a way to have animation "layers" in blender like in other known software like 3dsmax, maya, mobuilder... Say you have heavy data animation like mocap, and you just want to slap a "layer" on top of it and basically offset some parts.

The only way I came close to this was with the NLA editor, but it does not behave entirely like I would expect, basically my initial pose is not accurate...

Here is a link to a video that shows my problem.

anyone has an idea what I am doing wrong?
