Feet sliding, how to fix, blender 2.64, stride bone?

Post by BlueScreen » Fri Dec 07, 2012 3:38 pm

Here's the story.

1. I have created a simple walk cycle action block.
2. I created a path for my character to follow and parented him with the "follow path" option.
3. I added my action to the NLA editor and adjusted repeat and scale so the legs move at the right speed for the distance.

So the character moves correctly but the feet slide when walking. The few tutorials I've seen refer to something called "stride bone" to keep this from hapening, but I cannot find this feature in Blender 2.64.

Is there something else I can use to correct this issue?

Thanks
