Interchangeable Character Parts

Hello I'm trying to make a character rig with interchangeable hands, (I'm sorry if I'm posting in the wrong part of the forum) I am making a Mine craft Character rig so it would be a lot easier to just have multiple hands that I can switch to like one pointing, one making a fist etc instead of making a rigged hand. I have try ed doing something with layers and multiple hands, but it didn't work out to well. Is there anyway to do this? Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Hello, one easy approach would be to have all of the hands you like in a place that is somewere hidden far from camera.

Then for each hand would have a "Child Of" constraint that it will be related to hand bones of your armature.

Then by simply enabling or disabling this constraint you could on the fly set the hand mesh you want in each occasion.

Keep in mind that you will need to animate the constraint visibility in a somehow tricky way, to enable the one you want and disabling the one you don't want.
