Connect bvh armature with a character model

Dear all:
When I tried to connect armature of bvh data (motion capture data) to a download character model (i.e. downloaded from blenswap), certain parts of the body didn't move together with the body. For example, the eyes are separated with the head. I use CTRL+P to do armature deform with automatic weights. Does it mean I have pain the weights of the eyes manually?

I did it follow a video tutorial on Youtube, I would really appreciate it if there is any suggestions/addons to solve this problem? Or there is other way to connect bvh data with a 3D character model? Thanks very much!
