Bake Multiple Actions into One Action

Post by aligorith » Sun Dec 11, 2005 6:07 am

It would be neat to be able to select several action strips in the NLA editor and have them combined into a single, new action strip.

The way this could be done is:
1) create a new action
2) go through from the first frame of the earliest starting, selected action strip to the last frame of the latest ending, selected action strip, evaluating the pose everytime a keyframe is encountered. The evaluated pose is then added to the action

This is on my todo list of features to add to NLA after I'm done with MatchBone.

Are you (or someone) able to code it such that the bones Action editor can be open at the same time as a ShapeKey action editor window to aid with syncing actions concurrently rather than switching window modes?
