Fluid Simulation Problems with Yafray (OS X)

I'm playing around a little with the fluid simulation but there is some strange behaviour when using Yafray:

After the calculation is done I can render each frame correctly, but when I start to render a animation somewhere in the middle of the calculated frames, it renders from the first frame of the simulation. It also doesn't render until the last frame, instead the rendering is stopped after about a 120 frames.
I found out the stopping can be prevented by using the xml-option in the render settings, the starting over from the first simulated frame can't.

I'm still new to blender and would be happy about any help!

This problem also occurs with the internal renderer on Linux (and I would guess on any other platform as well)

It appears that it's a minor flaw in the fluid-simulation. It will always use the first frame of the fluid-simulation in the first rendering-frame, even if you start rendering from a frame different from 1.

I'm sure this can be fixed easily. And it'd better be, because it prevents anyone from continuing the rendering of a scene with fluids.

Yes, the fluidsim frame numbering is currently a bit stupid, I'll have to fix that... But the xml-option with yafray shouldnt really be affected by that. Gerd: maybe you can test if it works if you render without the fluidsim, or post an example .blend file.

Glad to see it was not my stupidity!

n_t: you are right, the problem with yafray doesn't depend on fluidism, that was my fault, I've tested it.
And thank you for your coding-work! It took some time for me to get used to blender's concept, but it is really worth it.

The room for improvement seems limitless, but I just wanted to take a moment to say:

THANKS n_t FOR THIS FANTASTIC FEATURE!

I can't wait for the next and hopefully more polished version.
