THIS IS SO COOL! Thanks, jahka, I've been following your project with great interest but the pictures couldn't tell the full story. Absolutely blown away. And it's so fast too!

Ok, actually, I revoke the thanks - it's now 1.34 AM and I'm definitely going to be up until past 2 trying things out. :D

It runs really nicely on my comp. No crashes. The new system is fairly complicated(and I think also very sophisticated), I hope there'll be some tutorials, or at least more demo files.
so big thanks.

I put that file in my blender 2.42a directory, and it's freezing whenever I change any of the settings. Is anyone else experiencing this? The crashes seem to be random, but always when I click a button or change a value. Not everytime, but always within five minutes of using the software.

You guys seem to have this thing working right, what could I be doing wrong?

You need a current CVS build, which has the particle patch applied.

I can't find the particle features in a actual CVS built. Is there a actual built combining the CVS with the particle features?

Thanx.

It's hard to get new particle in current CVS, the particle patch need some change to be applied in current CVS, wait Jahka will make a patch with new function soon, but when?

Well, this looks AWESOME!!!!!!!
I've been watching this project for a long while, and would love to try it out....but I can't compile worth beans.
Is there any one of you nice enough to post me a version you've already built with this in it? Please? :)

Edit: Nevermind. Got the new version of firefox and graphicall.org loaded, so I found the builds are already compiled. Thanks SO much for the new particles Jahka!!
