i can't understand wich value influences the costant deformation...how do you archieve that?

Whats going on with the download server?
I cant download the current build.
When i try to download, it downloads only some kilobytes and then stops and tell me the download has finished...
i mean 452kb is not finished..:)
Is there another mirror?
Or is this generally prob?

add a plane, select it in object mode, SHIFT-D, move the duplicate away, press SKEY, then type 100. bad scaling.

only happens after it has been duplicated.

All: Here´s a test of the latest softbody.
Now...notice that every time the ball hits an corner it sticks.. and deforms
the object itself, and if it hits an surface ..it just bounces without the deformations..

Bad scaling meaning what?
Tried but couldn't reproduce anything wrong either in gabio's build or in mine.

can someone post a quick step-by step tutorial on collision with softbodies?
i can't figure out how to use it (even after looking over the example .blend's)
