I've posted a new build on graphicall.org. This build now uses SSE2, so your processor must support it in order to run Blender. This is the fastest build I've made yet, though. The test.blend (included) I rendered with the normal build from blender.org and got 08:07.98. But with this build it took 05:05.8 Just try it out and tell me what you think. :D

Can you make an Athlon build with SSE2?

Sorry for not elaborating. The build is optimized for both Intel and AMD CPUs so long as they support SSE2.

Thanks a lot for the support! :D Lately I've been extremely busy (student  ), but over the weekend I'll do some updating.

A great build!

At first it crashed at startup, but after I have deleted the atioglxx.dll in the bin-folder it renders double as fast as the official 2.4 release.

edit: I have an Athlon 64 X2 3800+ and a Radeon X1800XL with the Catalyst 5.13 driver.
