Because there is a bug. If i create a scene using your fluid feature, and after a while i decide to create a new scene with the same output-folder, the fluid-programm seems to be "confused". Sometimes the "Domain" Mesh will be animated, instead of the "Fluid"-mesh, if i don't delete the old bake.
The solver generate the name of it's configuration with the name of the scene, by default untitled.blend to prevent this problem, you just have to save your scene with another name than untitled.

OK, but there is another problem with the Windows-build, i can't select a output-folder. i mean i can select it, but doesn't put any files in there. The Solver selects some old projetcs-folder.
