Hi,

NEWS:

1) Changes of mesh geometry comming from other verse clients are visualised in object mode too.
2) You can try experimental undo in edit mode.
3) Shared objects have different color of object center.
4) it is possible to rename object node (when you rename nameof mesh object, then object node is renamed too and this change is sent to verse server)
5) Several bug fixes

Read user documentation carefully and keep in mind, that only Mesh Object is supported (object transformation, edit mode actions).

it's great! :)

will there also be gimp and photoshop plugins? i would find verse extremely helpful for texture previewing without the hassle of continuously exporting / importing...

I tested it with a friend and I'm surprised because I can see the changes he made to the object IN REAL-TIME :shock:

Yes, It`s awesome! What are the plans for the undo? It causes strange behavior when two users are editing the same mesh.

Edit. the wiki says:

Undo system isn't supported now. When you press "U" in edit mode, then you can expect strange behavior. Undo (ctrl-z) doesn't work in object mode too. What problems do you have, when two users edit same object? Can you describe it exactly?

well, I think I cant describe it. because zanqdo and me were trying the build..

we were trying with the build, making extrusions etc, everything seems to be ok untill I pressed Ctrl+Z (Undo) in edit mode, and then the object go back to the start, almost every extrusion dissapear :?

Yes, I know about this bug. Undo (pressing "u" or "ctrl-z") as well redo (pressing "shift-u" or "ctrl-y") works, but bindings between verse server and local data are destroyed and you can expect strange behavior. Is it clear now?

Implementation of support for undo is on my todo list!

Hi,
thanks for your hosting of bleder-verse binaries.

I put my binaries at my old sites, because I can create and upload my linux binaries with one simple bash script ;-).

i was just messing around with this verse version for the first time, and i have to say, this is some cool sheets, of paper...works pretty well i must say. i can totally see this being used to give some live online tutorials...or other stuff...which is cool...
