bf-Blender / Windows (2005/11/04) + many patch

Post by lguillaume » Fri Nov 04, 2005 2:33 pm

Hello compilation with current CVS, nad many patch
All jahka patch : particle and explode
Patch from broken : New lamps/object center drawing, Patched from tuhopuu. This is incomplete, because it needs code to keep the center circles at a constant size. Hopefully someone (Ton?) can do this.
Patch from Nicholas Guttenberg (nichg) : Air resistance on the faces of a softbodies mesh rather than verts, and a force to preserve mesh volume
Patch from Richie : render from any view not only from camera:
How it works :
On the view3d header the last buttons enable to make a render of the view3D, now with the Richie's patch if you press Shift+click on the button you make a render of the current view with Blender internal render or yafray.
If you want to render an animation, press Ctrl+Shift+click on the button.
Richie continus to works on the patch to enable the render border for any view.
Use only DispWin, DispView does not work like He wants.

I don't put the log of CVS, is nearly the same as alpha 2.

Thank you very much for the build.

I think Richie's patch to render a 3Dview is very useful and it's good to see broken's work finds it's way into the official tree.

Reading the pre-release notes, I saw that particle guides won't make it into 2.40 - that's a pity. But maybe you can continue to integrate them into your CVS builds...

broken's work is only a patch for moment, and for Richie's patch, yes is very useful, he continus to work on it to enable render border, correct a problem when the camera is parenting , and put the renderer in the view3d.

there seem to be a little problem with the sound...
when i play an animation there´s something like a click at the start/endpoint of the animation in my speakers (3d window).
i "disabled game sound" and "muted the mixdown"...no chance

Do you have the same problems in the official alpha2? Perhaps the problems comes with a patch.

hello!

it seems that my problem exist since 2.37a and before!
i listen to music (winamp) and play an animation (50frames).
you can hear a break after each loop of the animation (blender), sounds like vinyl crack :D
this break you can see in the waveform of the mp3 snippet.
maybe this might be bug for the bugtracker?!

Hi, I am working with this build in a project, and I found the render-any-view feature doesn't work fine when the camera is tracking to an empty...

I test it in a new file, and it happens too. Maybe this is the trouble you talk about when say "parenting problem"?...

Thanks for the build, the render any view is cool!
