Like so many others, I am kinda hoping for max use of 64 bit with Blender. I just switched from swift 3D 2 days ago because they informed me they where not planning on being 64 bit compatible in the near future.
So, I was wondering when does Blender plan to have a final release for winXP/Amd 64 bit?

Lack of effort; I'm not a windows users unless there's a gun to my head.
Actually, I spent about 4 hours one afternoon trying to get CVS to compile under WinXP-32 and just gave up. None of the how-tos seemed to work for me. I figured there was no reason to evey try WinXP-64 if I couldn't get it to build in WinXP-32.
