This is the first *new* feature in this forum for a while now - and it looks great!

I'm hoping that at large distances the strands don't all lock to 1 pixel width. Testing now.

Is this feature also going to be in your Blender2KT build :?: or is it impossible to do this with KT ( KT supports depth tracing but i think as a separate render pass )

If it is enough reliable to be included in Blender's CVS, it will be also in the blender2kt as this last one is just the current Blender with fast export and a GUI fitted to Kerkythea .

In fact, the mesh created to display the strand is calculated to have always a fixed number of pixels as far as the vertex can be ...

The last improvement to be sure that the more far and visible strand has a width of at least one pixel : win32blend_stranddepth3.zip
