You know it's a BitTorrent file right? You need a bittorrent client to download.

It doesn't work for me.

I installed the latest java jre and bittorrent.

I tested BitTorrent by downloading the Java jre on their page. Seems to work.

When I try to download the art festival dvd iso, it just checks for about 6 minutes and then doesn't download it.

Does anyone know what I do wrong? is there a specific port needed?

Sorry to dredge up an old thread, but it's still on the first page, anyway.

If you guys still need the ISO, IM me on the infernal AIM. My screenname is the same as my nick here. I can't see a complete copy of a couple of other files on Jesterking's blendertorrent site -- would you guys happen to have those?

Maybe the BF could sell DVDs of this stuff -- or if that's not viable, get a set of all of them in the US and in Europe. Then, pay whoever has them for postage and the cost of the DVD-Rs, and ship it. Sometimes a mail truck with a couple DVDs in it has more bandwidth than an internet connection.
