Academic membership for Blender Network

Post by ton » Fri Jun 14, 2013 6:39 pm

Hi all,

I would like to advertise our Blender Network initiative for everyone.

http://network.blender.org

It is meant as our new platform to connect everyone who's professionally using Blender. Academic membership is free. Very important to get all activity listed there.

We also will be migrating to a new blender.org website soon. The use of forums on blender.org is getting a bit obsolete... I wonder if there's feedback or ideas from visitors here about the future.

You can join this list for discussions about the site:
http://lists.blender.org/mailman/listinfo/bf-webcontent

I've asked the web team to focus for redesign more on "Who uses Blender for what" than on "what can Blender do". Scientific and research users are a great category to have covered this way.

Thanks!
