Does anybody know of a good tut for creating cords, cables or worms?
I would like to have a smooth tube that follows a curve if possible.
Tutorial for creating cords, cables and worms?

The mine ride tutoral has the idea. Basically you want
to extrude an object along a path. If I remember right
it does it for the rails.

If I understand your question right, try this
In the front view create a plane and delete the two right vertices. Press the A KEy to turn remaining vertices yellow and create a circle. Go into the edit buttons and set your degrees at 360 and your steps and turns at what ever you’d like (play around with these settings and the location of the circle and the edited plane) then click on the screw button.
Have fun

Use the Mine Ride Tut from B@rts Site.
He use an Bezier Curve as Path for the Rails. The Rails only be Planes or Bezier Curves.
