Game engine documentation

Post by mjordan »

I need a guide about the blender's game engine.
Where can I download some documentation about this wonderful topic?
No plans to buy the official blender gamekit for now...

Thank you in advance.

Renato.

Thank you joeri.
I found only the official reference manual but since I'm a newbie (in Blender and in CG in general) I need a guide that explains things in a detailed manner, like the Blender manual do for Blender... Can you be more specific? Is it possible to download the official game kit in PDF somewhere?

Thank you for your reply!
Renato.

No, it still is one of the products for sale that finance the Blender Foundation.
Why not try the Blender Game Engine forum at Elysiun (the user's forums) http://www.elysiun.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=6
There also are a number of tutorials on the Internet :
at Elysiun again http://www.elysiun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11857
on Google
blender+game+engine+tutorial
With all this you should be up and running in no time.

Point taken. Sorry iaminnocent, my mistake.
I also/always assume everybody wants everything for free.
I just saw a change to sell another copy of the game kit pdf.
