Hey guys I have a problem.
I want to cut holes in a plane with a texture.
I already tried it by adding a displacement modifier and cutting off the overcoming rest. But the problem is:
I don't want these jagged edges and I also don't want to subdivide my plane 1,000,000 times .
Already tried to use alpha maps and transparent shaders, but it doesn't work in combination with a halo spot lamp... the rays don't go through the transparent parts of the plane ._.
I still have 3 Questions left
-How do I make/start a knife project?
-Hod can I create the effect of random ray length (with Halo spot lamps)
In another project I used cell fracture to destroy a wine glass...
But my problem is: I want to assign the fragment size with weight paint.
(wanna make little fragments next to the entry and exit hole of the bullet)
So my last question is:
-How do I change the fragment size of the glass?
in object mode, select the objects you wanna project, then select the object you wanna project on, enter edit mode and click Knife project button in toolbar. Note that the current view is used as projection orientation.
I'm sitting, waiting, wishing, building Blender in superstition...
