Cylinder Model Error

Post by TheJMaster06 » Fri Jul 12, 2013 11:39 am

When I import a new object for my Model, I try to import a cylinder. Add>Mesh>Cylinder. All I get is an orange line. I can't scale it or nothing. But I can Rotate and Locate it. Any Suggestions??

In which mode are you trying to add the cylinder, mesh or object mode? What are the settings of the tweak panel?
What view are you adding the mesh in?

The behavior you describe matches what one would see adding a cylinder with zero depth, while in front or side view (Numpad 1 or 3), while the addition is not aligned to the view. The object will appear as an orange line in front or side view. Switching to top view, the cylinder will appear as a circle. The object will be scalable only along the x or y axis. It will not scale along the z axis.
