I am having a problem modeling a screw, I need the top threads of the screw to sort of tapper into the inner cylinder. There is a plugin for nuts/and bolts but it does not work with my scale and not quite to my liking so im doing it by hand. In the image below I want the verts marked red to gradualy move toward and join into the center. I tryed proportional falloff without any success. Was woundering if any of you pro blender users could help me out. Last time I used blender was in 2004
Thanks brasshat, this two part tutorial is what I needed. I had found another tutorial and did some reading of the blender manual but totaly missed this little jem. The nuts and bolts plugin from the user preferences addons was quite impressive and hopefully some day I can tweak that to get it to my specs increasing productivity and reducing development time, for now Ill use what I learn from this tutorial series.
