Texture alpha also affecting objects behind it.

Post by nigiri »

I'm getting this problem where one texture's alpha also affects the objects behind it. Like the transparent part cuts out the texture behind it. I imported png images as planes using the images to planes plugin.

How is can I fix this? I've got material alpha to 0 and texture alpha to 1. Also checked receive transparent under material shadows. Is there a setting I'm missing?

Hmm, I think I've fixed it. I needed to switch from Mask to Z Transparency under materials transparency. Could have sworn I tried that already.
