Problem with 3D Model

Post by javiex98 » Thu Aug 29, 2013 12:24 am

Saludos,

I'm trying to import a 3D Model I created with an Android app (SubDiv Former), thing is that the model looks great in the app but when importing the file to Blender looks "Blocky" of "Pixelated" (I'm new to 3D modeling so I don't know the right terminology) anyways, my question is, How can I fix this rendering problem so the model looks exactly the way it looks in the app?

Thanks in advance

Any tips or help I would appreciate.

My guess is that assigning a subdivision surface modifier to the object would get your imported object in Blender close to what you see in the Android App.

I suggest that, since you are new to Blender, you spend time with one of the two on-line courses (<http://www.cdschools.org/Page/455>, or <http://gryllus.net/Blender/3D.html>). Having worked through one (or both) of those, you will be quickly able to see what you need to do to your object mesh.
