Possible "Crease Subsurf" bug???

Post by mjordan »

I received a strange behaviour while I was doing a tutorial.
I think the "Crease subsurf" option (Shift+E) is not working properly in my case, but I want to be sure that's a *real* bug before filing it to the tracker.

Open this file:
http://utenti.lycos.it/darkcg/images/fo ... _bug.blend

Enter Edit Mode (TAB). Note an edge loop selection.
Now crease subsurf pressing Shift + E and move the mouse around a little bit.
At a crease level of about +0.504, I receive a strange behaviour, like this (temporary) image:

What's wrong?
Thank you in advance.

Yes, increasing subsurf higher than 3 you can have the same effect, without creasing. O_o
Do you think it's a bug or what?
