missing Xlib.h?? OpenBSD compiling

Post by multix » Tue May 27, 2003 12:56 am

I am trying to compile Blender 2.27 on my Sparc which is running OpenBSD 3.3.

Configure terminates "normally" after I added some dependencies as binary packages.

I then do make (I tried gmake too: gnu make)

In file included from intern/GHOST_ISystem.cpp:52:
intern/GHOST_SystemX11.h:39: X11/Xlib.h: No such file or directory
intern/GHOST_SystemX11.h:40: GL/glx.h: No such file or directory
gmake[3]: *** [GHOST_ISystem.lo] Error 1

while the files are there
for example, the other in X11.Xlib.h

so what's wrong? how can I fix it ?

besides, I read that the dependencies of blender are mastodontic (like MOZILLA, which doesn't build under OpenBSD)... is that true? the configure reported no errors, so I thought all was found.

configure --with-x=/usr/X11R6

and if that doesn't work,
CFLAGS="-I/usr/X11R6/include" LDFLAGS="-L/usr/X11R6/lib" CXXFLAGS=$CFLAGS configure

and if that doesn't work, try the latest cvs.
