Custom Modifiers via python

Post by simtron » Thu Sep 08, 2011 10:03 pm

I guess it would be very great if Modifiers are also accessible via python.Or more like node.

For example., all those who have watched HarryPotter and Deathly Hallows -II

The CG when Voldemort dies is like he is disintegrated. In blender terms it is a combination of Explode modifier followed by cloth.More exactly to say, the derived mesh entity/ particle individually acts like a piece of cloth.I guess you got my point. So I request the coders to look into this and come up with a way to unfreeze Modifiers RNA type and be accessible for custom scripts.Or a new modifier type like "Script" will also do.Like a function that takes an object and returns a list of object(s)(Derived mesh list). What do you say???
