Attempt to port blenderplayer to iOS

I am an iOS developer and decided to take a stab at porting the blenderplayer to the iOS, a groups of friends and I have been working on a game in blender and want to port it to other platforms.

To port the blenderplayer I would need to build blender for iOS, but to do this I would need the libraries compiled for the arm architecture. Does anyone have any experience in this field, are the libraries sources nicely grouped together or am I going to have to scavenge the web in search for them, is there anyone in particular to contact for this, have the libraries already been porte, does anyone have any advice?

Though I have been programming for a few years I am still relatively new to custom building, but that doesn't mean I am not eager to give it a shot.

Campbell once built all the libs to arm and it 'was no brainer' (his words).

If you have troubles poke him in the irc #blendercoders channel under the nick 'ideasman_42'.

Now, as much as I would love to see blenderplayer there I thought Apple's license forbid any kind of GPL application (not even python could run there). That may have changed though.

It is possible to build and run e.g. python applications in iOS with CYDIA (on a jailbroken device of course), and some friends of mine are actually working on a barebones version of Blender with multitouch functionality. I am interested in getting both a viewer and a simple modeller with multitouch gesturing built for iPad and would love to join forces if you are still interestsed.
