How to compile in the new CCGSubSurf ?

Post by homebody » Sun Apr 24, 2005 8:32 pm

Hi
I'm having trouble compiling in the new subsurf library. I'm compiling tuhopuu with scons on linux. I've tried adding USE_CCGSUBSURFLIB = 'true' in the config.opt file, alongside with those USE_INTERNATIONAL declarations. I can get a binary but there is no new CCGSubSurf option in there. What should I do? :?

Hello, you have in your compile the CCGSubSurf, it replaces the old subsurf.

 thanks for the reply... I'm just about to think the compiling process as a mysterious voodoo and begin to pray..

I'll have to go through the scons document anyway. every time it compiles buildinfo.c , which is painful to wait if I'm gonna tweak some code....

By choosing 'Simple Subdiv' from the menu button that shows 'Catmull-Clark' ?

CCG subsurf is labelled "catmull clark" it is still a catmull clark subdivision, but it is faster. If you don't notice anything, then it is allright.
