compiling texture plugins ( OSX )

Post by leadhead » Mon Jun 12, 2006 11:12 pm

hello,

I have written shaders for other applications, some scripted, some compiled. So I have an understanding of the code and how to generate what I want. My problem comes from trying to compile the source files. On OSX I assume I should be using Terminal application to run the bmake script? Never done this before, a walkthrough for a blender newbie like me would be greatly appreciated. I have the texture.c file and just need to know where it should be ( I assume in blender/plugins/textures folder ). Then how to correctly run the bmake script. That would be greatly appreciated, have some cool stuff to share!

Is this documented somewhere obvious I have missed?
