What design patteren does Blender use ?

I have continued my studies and have Found MVC http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Model-view-controller

While I learn Ruby Rails and Obj-c .. ruby being the smartest

I wonder what method blender uses since I know the devs are adamant against Objects I need to know how blender thinks to out smart it ...

I never got that impression

it seems to me that because the code was originally c that using classes might not happen immedately, but there's no reason you can't do object-oriented stuff in c.
