Ubuntu & Blender Problems

Post by Snoose » Mon Jul 24, 2006 5:00 am

Hello,

I have been using Blender on a Windows rig for some time now and now I am trying to get into linux. I tried running Blender 2.32 on Ubuntu 6.06 and get the following error: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

To me this means I'm obviously missing some files I need (duh). I have no idea where to get the files and where to put them when I do have them. I am completely new to linux. Any one willing to point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Snoose

That thread will teach you several things you're going to need anyway, being new to Linux.

Hope it helps. :-)
