Help a bug!

Post by modron » Sun Jan 07, 2007 8:14 am

I have been having a bit of trouble logging into the bug tracker forum lately so could someone please pass this on? When doing retopo>retopo all, there is a slight problem. Let's call the two meshes the 'form' and the 'rubber sheet' for lack of better terms. If you have a lamp or a camera in between the form and the sheet, the sheet will actually hang up on the lamp and the camera, making it part of your new topography. thanks in advance for reporting this.

not a 'bug' but a 'feature' :)

Anything in the scene contributes to the zbuffer, thus your form can be made of bones, mesh, multiple objects, etc. just move them to a different layer if they aren't supposed to be part of what you want to retopo and hide that layer. I'll forward this to nick though.
