Blender to After Effects exporter

Post by DhAoS »

Hello!

I'm working with a couple of people on a script that allow the exporting of camera data from Blender to After Effects, here ---> http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=70432 the discussion about it. By the way we have some problems about how to convert blender camera rotation data (which are global) to After Effects (which use local) (if it is not clear what I mean take a look at this post http://blenderartists.org/forum/showpos ... stcount=84 ). If someone know the WAY we will appreciate much :)

Thank you in advance

Rotations local are the same as global if it's not a parented object.
Maybe it's got something to do with Y being up and not Z? Or Euler and Quad?

Maybe I'm using the wrong definitions, what I want to explain is that in AE every axis are independent from each others instead in Blender (like in many other 3d apps) they are all dependent from the global postion of the objects itself in the global space.
