new feature suggestion

hi,
I ve tried to go in https://projects.blender.org/tracker/?a ... unc=browse but with no success, so I say here my suggestion.
1)It would be great if when you select a background image,for instance, instead of displaying all files, it selected only picture files like jpg ones.
2)And if you press quickly letters, it went to the files
Example: strike T-E -> tea.jpg
texture49989.jpg
te....
...
...

Do you have problems registering with projects.blender.org? If so, please tell me what goes wrong, and I'll see if I can help you.
