exporting to quicktime
how do you export blender animations to quicktime in 2.48?

Quicktime support is obviously also compiled into Blender on OS X. Again, in the Format panel of the scene settings (F10), choose QuickTime for output. You should see a new button [Set codec]. Use it to choose the appropriate encoding scheme for your animation. Saving of your animation goes as normal.
