Loading objects in Blender (how to)

Hi All

I'm pretty new to this Blender thingy, and go a problem.

Now I am building a model of a car, and have constructed various parts and
saved them as .Blend files.

The problem is:

I've constructed the body and want to load objects (wheels etc) to scale and
attach them to the body, every time I load an object it replaces the part I am working on.

My question is: How do I load additional objects without deleting objects
already loaded ?

From the file menu choose "append or link", select the file where your part is saved, select "object", and select from the list the object(s) you want to import.
Repeat for every file where you have saved your parts.
You can either append or link your components. Refer to the link below for more details:
