Adding Curves to a Rectangular Prisim

Post by Aurum » Tue Jun 12, 2012 7:11 am

Hello there, sorry to be a bother, but I feel like such an beginner asking this. I am designing my mother a table for her dining room. Allow me to explain the design of the table.

The sides of the table will be slightly curved, same with legs. The top of the table will have a cherry blossom imprinted into the wood. My problem is I cannot create anything of this, besides a rectangular prisim for the top. How do I add curves to a cube?

You might try looking into subsurf modifiers, the (loop cut?) ctrl-r tool, and edge creasing.

If I understand what your looking for.
