Hi everyone, I was trying to make a gingerman bread following this tutorial :
http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D ... rbread_Man

When I apply the subsurf on the mesh, here's what I get :

So it seems like some parts of the mesh aren't taken in consideration :/

Any idea?

Uhm... I don't see anything wrong. As a matter of fact I don't see anything. Maybe it's just me but I think you left out the link to your example.

You should probably upload the .blend file to be sure but it looks like you're missing faces at the ends of those two extremities or the faces that are there aren't properly connected to the rest of the mesh. Press A to select all the vertices and then press "Remove Doubles" under Remove in the toolshelf. During extrusion you can sometimes end up with separated faces without realizing it since the duplicated vertices will be occupying exactly the same space. You might want to get into the habit of removing doubles every now and then during your modeling just to make sure that your mesh is consistent.

If you take a look at the following image the only difference between these two subdivided cubes is that one of the faces is separated from the main mesh. The one that is correct is actually a duplicate of the first one with remove doubles applied.
