Where are sky settings?

Post by Lord Spectre » Mon Aug 20, 2012 9:10 pm

Hello,
I'm using Blender 2.60 on Linux and today I discovered that I don't have the sky settings (Blend sky, Paper sky, Real sky and the three color pickers) in the World tab.
I don't know when they disappeared because I usually add background images from the compositor. But today, following a tutorial about creating a realistic sun, I had to use them, but they weren't there.
How can I do to have them back? Is this a bug of the 2.60 (I already asked my repo's mantainer to update to 2.63 some days ago)?

Do you see the word “World” with a black rectangle next to it, near the top of the World properties? If the triangle is horizontal, click on it to expand the panel that contains those settings.

Oh, and you should upgrade to 2.63.

In the World tab, I don't have the World "section" at all (it's not collapsed):

For the upgrade, I'm waiting for the repo mantainers to package it.

Tell them to get a move on. 2.64 is almost out the door.

Note: you can unpack an archive file from blender.org and run it directly without installing.

Solved! It's the Gamekit Engine addon! If I disable it and restart, the world settings reappear...
