Sorry if you're seeing this as a repost from BlenderArtists.org forum --- I'm in a bind and am desperately looking for answers.
When I try to extrude from a circle (e, then s so it's in scale), it seems to only extrude from the X-axis, squashing my circle into an oval. I've attached a picture to better illustrate my problem.
I'm very new, so any and all help would be appreciated. As far as I know, I have no transform locks on.
