Why does it make it darker?

Post by Urrby » Sat Dec 15, 2012 12:16 am

Hello!
So im new to this blender and 3D thing. I started working on a gun by some tuturial. And its all gone very nice till now. I started with the cube and then i just used Shift+D to copy it. But then i deleted it (didnt noticed at the time) and saved the file. So now i cant get back the cube. That shouldnt be a problem but when i create new one the cube just created is much darker than all the other objects from befour. Will this effect final look? Or is it just for me to make it easier? How do i change the color? Because now i fearif i continue all objects that will be darker will stick out to much and i dont want that.
Here is the picture:

The default cube has a defeult material.
The new one has no material...
Select the new one, go to Materials Panel and Clic NEW. Blender assings the default material to this one cube.

Or... select the model, go to Materials and remove it.

Luck!!
