Minnaert (velvet) diffuse shader

I've implemented the minnaert shader.
In this link you can see a comparison with the others shaders:

You can use for cloth (velvet specially), sun's reflection over the sea..... and others

i tried patching it to BF, and when ever i click add material or open a file that has a material assigned already, it crashes blender.
was with cygwin on winXP
