before the next release, the community brings a willingness

before the next release, although this one without a binary for starts right now is far from enough, the community would like to bring its willingness to share our knowledge and experience to make some awesome skill based video tutorials if blender.org is willing to kindly bring a section for this and/or host or link to it.

the method we here would like to use, and is recommended for others to use, is pretty simple. We will use camtasia with the tscc codec to record our videos, doing the modeling, dynamics, skeletons, particles etcetera, and then we will convert them to divx5 using virtualdub and resize, and downsize the file, the video to 720x540 using precise bilinear and, for some if possible, do a two pass encoding at 192 video bitrate. as a result the output will be a totally rad video that all the community could watch and be inspired by our talent, of the few. also the file size of these videos would be narrowed down by the respective compression used for bandwidth reasons and there wont be any audio also not just for bandwidth reasons but to keep in mind those whom may be deaf among us.

thank you and i hope this would be taken into consideration, if not now but later.

-on behalf of PHrentec, thanks again.

subtitles would be put in if wanted but would be really used. the point of these video tutorials were supposed to be, i wouldn't say in the way 3dbuzz.com makes his, but to be a very quick way to demonstate certain techniques in doing things in blender. and also to demonstrate our skills to the community. so like the saying 'no gut, no glory' if you dont have the gut to spend a fraction of time to do this then dont expect the glory.
