make planar faces

Post by dummy »

I use the latest version of blender.
Sory, for that question, but I can't find a tool to make my faces planar.
Is there any tool like that?

do you mean flatten?

If so, you can use scale then 0 and it will flatten the faces.

However a nicer way is to use the flatten script by Cambo

For user questions you should probably use the elysiun forum,

Maybe it's a good idea to place a link to Elysiun on the main page again.

thanks for your help.

I'm sory. Why I can't post questions like that in this Forum?
Is there a difference between elysium and this board?

I'ts a little difficult to use an English Interface in blender, but I can make myself familiar with it. Nevertheless, is there a way to get an interface in another langwage?

dummy,

this forum is meant for developers to discuss coding of new features and related topics, not to answer questions on how to use Blender.

You can, but expect technical answers, not 'how to use' answers.
So, "Is there any tool like that?" might give you the answer: 'no', or 'it's on the todo list', or 'check a user site to get a script that might do that'.

Elysiun is a private owned user community site.
Blender.org is the blender foundation owend blender development site.

The blender foundation currently supports the user base with static html pages about what blender is (features, testimonials), how to use blender (with aid of free downloadable documents and links to usersites), news for users and developers, how people use blender (gallery etc), and about the foundation. It leaves interactive contact with users to the user base itself, using Irc and Community forums.
A good list of Community websites and forums can be found here:
http://www.blender.org/cms/Websites.7.0.html
Maybe there is one in your language.

there is a way to change the interface language in blender, if that is what you are asking about here. It is a setting in the option bar at the top of the program.
