changing SizeX&SizeY resolution at the same time

Post by kxs » Thu Sep 01, 2005 9:35 pm

Hi, what do you think about adding to Blender an option to change SizeX&SizeY (in Render buttons->format) at the same time. There could be an lock icon next to SizeY and when it`s pressed, both SizeX & Y change when you change one. You know, just like in GIMP. I think that it woul be easy to add and it`s quite useful. What would you say? :D

add a mesh, press s for scale, press shift+z if you like to scale at XY.

Or when using the transform widgets holding down Shift and select the axis you didn't like to change.
Karamba!

:)))))
i think it's talking about the render buttons X and Y,
Scene context>Format Panel>SizeX Size Y,not object scaling.

but I didn`t know that. Cool thing, thanks. So, it doesn`t solve my problem, but it`ll make modeling easier :)

I thought matt was looking at this.
To lock the aspect that is under the sizex/sizey.

Yep, it's on the todo list - have a few other things to get done first though! :)
