Feature Request -- Backface Culling for modelling interiors

Post by GreyBeard » Sat Nov 26, 2005 6:23 pm

When modelling interiors of rooms, caves etc. (where normals are pointing toward the inside of the object) we are currently stuck with either working in wireframe mode or hiding some verts in a solid mode in order to see inside the model. It would be nice if there was a toggle to not display the faces when the normals aren't pointing toward the view. ie. make a cube and flip its normals and you would only see the back 3 inside faces in the 3d view. I hope my explanation is clear enough.

P.S. I read the sticky at the top of the list but the link to request new features requires admin priveleges -- the sticky post should probably be updated.

I suggest you look at this link: http://blender.org/cms/Feature_Requests.480.0.html

It's there, under drawmode.
